2011: I am absolutely thrilled to reveal the new website! I decided to keep the site design clean and minimalistic, as a portfolio site should be – let the work speak for itself. My personal objective + focus was the typographical CSS and keeping the code clean and validated. Battling a myriad of browsers / browser editions was the challenge that kept me awake at night.
2011: In the process of re-designing our website for better usability.
2011: Completed a 2 day jQuery course in NYC.
2010: Exhibited works at the National Arts Program.
2010: Re-designed website for Beekley Corporation's Medical Division. This included project management and interactive direction.
2009: Created logo + brand style for Chris's business card and new website.
2008: Exhibited a painting in a group art show at MAC 650.
2008: Designed corporate identity + all collateral, including website, for Prestige Lane Hospitality Brands.
2008: Completed a 2 day InDesign CS3 course. Time to ditch Quark and Freehand!
2007: Designed + branded all collateral, signage and website for Mona Lisa Ristorante.
2007: This year I attended a 3 day HTML course at New Horizons which has really given me a better understanding of foundational coding and the backend side of websites. I feel much more confident going into the backend of a site and tweaking the HTML whenever the front end lets me down!
2006: I'm very pleased to finally unveil the new website design + look & feel! The former site (100% Flash) seemed dated and ready to retire. I'm especially excited about the CSS technology employed site-wide ~ not to mention the slick, clean interface design.
In the past, I had used CSS for text styling but it wasn't until I attended a 2 day course in NYC, at Noble Desktop, where I learned in-depth CSS.
